Renovation & Growth of Children's Area

Every week, more families are walking through our doors with young children eager to learn, explore, and connect. From first story times to early literacy activities, our library has become a vital gathering place for the youngest members of our community.

Our current children’s area hasn’t kept pace with this growth. Right now, the space is small, crowded, and inflexible. There’s limited room for movement, hands-on learning, or even a comfortable place for families to sit and read together. As our programs grow, the space simply can’t keep pace.

We’re ready to change that! 

With your support, we will transform our children’s area into a flexible, welcoming space designed for early learning and discovery. Mobile shelving will open up the room. Dedicated space will allow for interactive play, story times, and family connection. Comfortable seating will invite caregivers to stay and engage.

This is more than a space—it’s an investment in our children. Early literacy and play-based learning build the foundation for lifelong success. By reimagining this area, we can better serve families today and strengthen our community for the future.
