Gods Covering Inc

God's Covering is a nonprofit corporation that provides healthy snacks for children each weekend, holiday,and teacher workday during the school year. The program is for participating students attending any of the four elementary schools in the Alleghany Highlands Public Schools. The snack bags include a shelf-sustainable protein, fruit, and grain product for each non-school day. We also provide the same snack bag to siblings over 3 years of age but not yet attending school. The bags are sent home on the last school day of the week. We need your help to ensure that these children continue to receive these needed snacks as this program is 100% donation funded. Help us reduce childhood food insecurity one snack pack at a time!

Donations are always needed as we hope to continue the program as long as there is a need.

We never want a child in our area to go to bed hungry!
