COPE is a volunteer 501(c)(3) organization that distributes food to our neighbors in the Greater Alleghany Highlands. We distribute food on Thursday mornings from 8:30am until 12:00pm. The distribution is drive-thru. 

We are a partner pantry of Feeding Southwest Virginia Food Bank.

Last year from March through December., we served over 7700 people, all ages, with a food cost to Feeding Southwest Va. of approximately $50,000.00. This money was entirely donated by our community. Food Lion, Kentucky Fried Chicken and McDonalds of Low Moor also support the food pantry with food donations.

We believe that all our neighbors are our family. We do not discriminate based on race, nationality, sex, gender, or religion.
