About Us: For decades, Mountain Regional Hospice has been a trusted source of compassionate care in the Alleghany Highlands, serving patients and families since 1993. Building on that strong foundation, Mountain Regional Hospice joined with Rockbridge Area Hospice in 2023 to create ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice—bringing together two organizations with a shared commitment to caring for neighbors across our region.
As the only local non-profit hospice, we ensure that all those in our community who need hospice care receive it. Our services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private health insurance and our Good Neighbor Fund. Regardless of ability to pay, if a patient qualifies for our services, we will care for them.
Service Area: ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice cares for patients and their families across all of Rockbridge County, Lexington City, Buena Vista City, Alleghany County, Clifton Forge, Covington City, Bath County, Hot Springs, and their neighboring communities.
