Who we are & what we do
"Promoting visual arts through education, exhibitions, and marketing! " 

  We heavily rely on the support of the Alleghany County community and could not do what we do without you!   
We are so thankful for the 10,000 visitors of all ages who experience a wide variety of exhibits & classes at the Center annually. 

One of the main ways we are supported is through memberships. We have some incredible members from all over who've been supporting us for years.  This year for Give Local, we are asking you to become a member. For just $20 you can become a member or $30 for a family membership annually. Becoming a member has benefits:

* Knowledge that you are financially helping to make the AHACC the continued success it has been for 40 years!

*  By providing your email address you will be privy to information on special events and all classes and workshops, along with the opportunity for advance registration.

* Membership Card which you will receive in the mail to receive 10% discount on purchased items from the Center and Gallery.

  Your $20/$30 will help AHACC to provide class scholarships, and continue to offer FREE high quality exhibits in the Gallery.

Summer Art Camp

Every 4-6 weeks new exhibits are installed in the Gallery.  These FREE exhibitions are made possible through the support of  contributions from people like you!  Below is a video of the 2024 Student Art Show.  

 The Shop presents the sale of excellent handmade juried artwork from 280 artists. This helps to support regional artists in their artistic endeavors.  Please enjoy a video below of one of our artists talking about her work:
